I scooched my chair in toward the table, trying to put a little more space between Jackson and me, but he wasn’t having it.

He put both hands on the back of my chair, then leaned in close. “Hi, Willa.”

“Uh . . . hi.” I shivered at the heat from his chest on my bare shoulders.

Why was he standing so close? My parents were right there. Our table was one of four tall, square ones in the center of the room and there was plenty of space between tables.

We met them in Tattered, but now we delve so much deeper into each of them and their relationship together. Willa has been in love with Jackson from the first time she laid eyes on him and never noticed her until one day 9 years later. When he final does notice her, she has given up and he needs to work to get her to notice him now.

The book is written in your typical Denvey style. The way she describes and brings the Montana life and towns to life is extraordinary! This book is a definite MUST READ!
