Hot Heir is the story of Viktor and Peach. You may remember them from the other books that Pippa Grant has written, if you have not read them – go read them now! This is a series of intertwined standalone – each book focuses on a different couple within a group of friends.
This may not be popular opinion, but I was kinda happy that the Berger twins didn’t play a major role in this book. Weird to think that? I know!! But as we delve into Viktor and Peach’s story, their “fake” relationship takes on a life of its own. Peach is a feisty, never know what will come out of her mouth heroine that marries Viktor, smoking hot, newly appointed King to help both of them get what they want. His rightful place on the throne and her adoption of her teenage sister. The story is one I can relate to as I have a teenager. Luckily his antics are not in the same realm at Papaya’s (not even close) I can still relate. LOL. While they try to juggle their own responsibilities, they come to realize their feeling for each other. And the sexual tension, they are fighting is off the charts hot and funny (OMG! The shower scene!).
As usually, I am in love with Pippa’s quick wit and humor and the chaos she manages to show in not just this book, but all her books. If you are looking for a fun, quick, laugh out loud funny book with heart, this is it!
