So glad I didn’t have to wait long for the conclusion of this duet because I finished the first book with my jaw hanging open. The first book, The Wright Love, leaves us with one heck of a cliffhanger (that I didn’t see coming, btw).  Luckily this book picks up right where the first book leaves off. Here we are introduced to the van Pelts and are given so much more insight into David’s shocking past. Wow!  I didn’t see that coming either.  I have to say both these books surprised me and that doesn’t happen often.

This book is flawlessly written and is the perfect conclusion to this Duet.  Watching David and Sutton grow separately and together was amazing!  This is definitely a good beach read, but be warned it has some surprises that keep it from being just another run of the mill summer beach read.  Worth the read!!🤓
