I seem to be on a roll lately with widow protagonist books. But The Wright Love stands out from the pack. It is the story of Sutton Wright and David Calloway told in alternating perspectives. Sutton is a young widow dealing with her grief while trying to trying to keep so semblance of normalcy for her 2 year old son. I think she does a fantastic job, of you ask me (nobody did, but I said my opinion anyway). She and David have been friends for a while and when David wants to take their relationship into uncharted territory for Sutton, she is hesitant, but he is super patient (maybe too patient, if you ask me, but again, no one did). When they do get together the entire Wright clan goes all mama-bear on both Sutton and David. I love the Wright family and their protective, fierce, loving nature. I plan to go back to read the other Wright Books (that you do not need to read this duet).
This is a story of love, loss, betrayal and a lesson in moving on. It is an emotional roller coaster ride, that you will not want to miss. As I wrap up this review, I have one word for you — CLIFFHANGER!!!!! This book has a cliffhanger extraordinaire that I did not see coming. Luckily, you do not have to wait long for the second book in this Duet.
