Ohmydog!! What a fantastic book! The story of Manning and Gracie is the best! She’s a dyslexic dirty cookie maker from Goat’s Tit, Alabama and he’s a Prince from Stolland in America playing hockey, because he is the “spare heir”. When they get together, hilarity ensues. All the characters from the other books in the series make appearances, but you can definitely read this as a standalone book.
Watching Gracie finally find her way and her voice to “grow a pair” and step out of her sister’s shadow and go after what she wants was amazing! I love Manning and Gracie together and to watch their journey unfold was heartwarming and comical.
I have really enjoyed every book Pippa Grant has written and I look forward to reading Ares story next. If you are looking for a fun, laugh out loud book with heart, check out any of her books.
