Twisted Truth was my first book from Maria Macdonald and she is now going on my list of favorite authors! The story of Isaac and Via has everything I love and need in this type of novel. It has the perfect combination of lust, love, desire, secrets and turmoil. I simply could not get enough of Isaac’s alpha demeanor and sexiness with still a secret tender side to him… ladies, be prepared to tango! I could tell that Maria writes from her heart. I could feel all the emotions that not just Isaac and Via have for each other, but also all the other characters in the story. Her writing style simply pulls you in without drowning you and getting lost. She keeps you in the moment and makes you feel part of the story. I’m looking forward for the second book in the series and will definitely be reading some of the others already out.
