From the blurb, I really thought that The Boy Next Door was going to be a fun, easy read to take my mind off everyday life. I was so wrong. It was sweet, sexy, and it really broke my heart at times. Dash and Amelia’s story spans years, has ups and downs. The whole story took me on a ride I wasn’t prepared for.
The Boy Next Door is a beautifully written love story with several key messages which I will not get into as they would be considered spoilers. However, I will say that I came out of this story rocked yet happy. The characters of Dash and Amelia are wonderfully written and the whole story itself was well planned by Ms. James.
There is no cliffhanger in the book. Plan to go through a couple tissues and maybe some wine while reading though. Ella James writes wonderful stories. If you haven’t already tried one, certainly give The Boy Next Door a chance.
