The cover and synopsis of The Coppersmith Farmhouse drew me in but the story itself held me in its grip from beginning to end. I am so happy that more people are again turning to penning Romantic Suspense books. Devney Perry came up with an amazing idea and turned it into a book that I absolutely could not put down.
Jess and Georgia start out on the wrong foot but eventually become friends and more. It is hard for Georgia to trust after her daughter’s father abandoned them both. Enter Jess, the sheriff with an bad attitude focused on Georgia. I do not want to get into many details about the story because I loved all the twists and turns and wouldn’t want to ruin the story for another reader. Suffice it to say, there is more to the plot then just Jess and Georgia’s love story. Mystery, murder, suspense and bad guys also play a huge part of The Coppersmith Farmhouse.
Devney Perry is a new voice to me in the romance community. I am waiting impatiently to see what else she has to offer!
