I am so excited for the start of a new series from Rachel Van Dyken! This was the perfect way to begin The Bachelors of Arizona Series. Rachel always writes the swooniest love stories that make my heart beat faster.
The Bachelor Auction is sweet, funny and super sexy. Brock and Jane have a magnetic chemistry throughout the whole book. Even when he is being a total jerk to her, the sexual tension is through the roof. Being a total fairytale geek, I loved the parallels to Cinderella. Brock is the rich businessman – the prince, if you will. Jane owns a cleaning business and “keeps” her ridiculous stepsisters.
Speaking of the stepsisters, the supporting characters really made the books for me. While Esmerelda and Essence (the stepsisters) are honestly horrible, Brocks meddling grandfather and his two delinquent brothers are a hoot and a half. I can’t forget Nadine either – girl needs her own book!
I am DYING for book two in the series!!!!!
