I am sitting here at my computer trying to put into words how deeply this book touched me. Stay is now carved into my heart as my favorite A.L. Jackson book. I did not really think that any character she could write would top Lyric for me. Then I met Ash.
Ash and Willow’s love is complicated but meant-to-be. Willow is so sweet, so caring and just what Ash needs. While he pretends that his heart is sealed from love forever, Willow managed to crack that hold and make him feel love that he never wanted. I cried so many times during their story. While it is amazing, it has some truly heartbreaking moments.
I was so sad when I turned that last page on Stay. I wish that Willow and Ash’s story could have gone on, but all good things must come to an end, I suppose. Stay can be read as a standalone but I really recommend reading the rest of the books in the series. I can not wait to find out more about the mysterious Zee in A.L. Jackson’s next book, Stand.
