Denial review 5 stars (of course)
Not sure what to say about Denial, but wow! I was so glad when I heard that Lisa was writing Ella’s story. I read all of the Inside Out books about Sara and Chris and Mark but they left a big question mark for Ella. But now that was answered. And boy did she deliver. The Careless Whisper series can be read without reading the Inside Out series, but why would you want to do that?! Like the Careless Whisper series, the Inside Out series is amazing. Be prepared for cliffhangers and not getting all the answers at once. Lisa is a master story teller and has expertly crafted an another amazing series of nail biting, sexy suspense.
It’s starts off with Ella waking up in a hospital with amnesia and it goes from there. As Ella navigates Italy, without knowing the language, she discovers that there are lots of people out there that may not want the best for her. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you guessing right up to the end. I can not wait to start the second book.
Demand review 5 stars (were you expecting less?)
Demand is the amazing second book in the Careless Whisper series. It picks up exactly where Denial left off with Ella pointing a gun at Kayden. As Ella learns who she is and who to trust, she learns many things about herself. Although her memory is coming back slowly, she is beginning to wonder if there is a reason she doesn’t remember and maybe she shouldn’t remember. As the story progresses, things get more complicated for Ella and Kayden. Alliances are tested and boundaries crossed. In typical Lisa Renee Jones fashion, Demand has lots of twists, turns, steamy sex, and suspense.
If you are looking for a sexy, intriguing book, look no further. The third book is released in January and it can not get here soon enough.
