I honestly don’t know how Alessandra does it. Every book she writes is fresh, different; a definite surprise. Her writing gets better and better. Her characters richer and more extraordinary. Her to-do list is probably fascinating. I would love to sit and have a conversation with her about how she comes up with these endlessly intriguing stories; pick her brain, if you will. Moonshot is another masterpiece read in her list of amazing stories.

The book explores the relationship between Chase Stern, baseball’s bad boy, and Ty Rollins, the good girl who grew up in the Yankee’s dugout with her father and the team being her constant guardians. Not exactly an easy situation to find a date. Moonshot spans the ups and downs of Chase and Ty’s romance through several years. It is sexy and heartbreaking at the same time.

For those naysayers that don’t want to read a “baseball” book – Moonshot is SOOOOO much more then baseball. There is love, sex AND baseball, but there is also SUSPENSE and INTRIGUE, something I did not expect at all when I began reading. That’s where the Alessandra magic comes in. She hooks you with one part of the story and then BAM, she adds an element that you weren’t expecting at all. That is what keeps me coming back to her writing, book after book.

Moonshot is a stand-alone read, no cliffhanger. I was consumed from beginning to end!
