I adore love triangles – the more angsty they are, the better. Waiting for the conclusion to Easy Virtue has been torture but Sweetest Venom was well worth the wait. Gripping, scandalous, and off-the-charts hot, Sweetest Venom is a must read!
Blaire completely drove me crazy in Easy Virtue. I so wanted her to find her way to true love and give up sleeping with men for money. We all know how hard that hope was dashed. I had no idea where Mia would go with this book and Blaire’s further development, as well as what she would do with her feelings for both Ronan and Lawrence. I loved the back and forth, no matter how painful it was or how often I had to put my Kindle down just to breathe and lower my heart rate. It was worth every blood pressure spike.
Honestly, I would have been happy with Blaire deciding on either man. They each had their outstanding virtues, not to mention their bad ones. I think that I fell a little for each man but there was definitely one that stood out in my mind as the man that she would ultimately be with. Holy cow, what a painful journey she went on, but I really believe she came out of it a better Blaire.
Sweetest Venom is a two part series. You must read Easy Virtue (on sale as of publication for 99c) first for the story to make sense and have the right amount of impact. I am sorry to see Blaire, Lawrence, and Ronan go, but I had a fantastic time living through them! I can’t wait to see what Mia Asher has for us next!!!!
