Wow! I really did not think I was going to like this book when I first started because of one reason – Victoria. An ice-cold b*tch with no qualms about telling it like it is, she grated on my nerves from page one. Little did I realize that I was going to become completely immersed in her story and begin to care a whole lot about what was going to happen to her.
Wicked Beautiful was funny, engaging, and believe it or not, heartwarming. I think that Victoria’s introduction is actually perfect. You really get to experience her becoming a different person then what you are led to believe in the synopsis. This is especially true once Parker enters the picture. She knows who he is but he has no clue that she was once his girlfriend long ago. Seem strange? Honestly, it is believable given the scenario and the way the book plays out.
I did not expect to get so involved in the book. I could not put it down, just wanting to know what would happen between Victoria and Parker once all was revealed. I wasn’t disappointed either. Wicked Beautiful is not a typical love story, but it is wicked smart, wicked funny, and wicked wonderful!
