I have been reading the Bennett series since book one and have hated Sofie since the beginning. A rich model with a chip on her shoulder and a grudge against the world, she has always been completely unlikable. To be honest, I wasn’t sure that I would even want to read a book about her, she got on my nerves that much. I adore Kennedy’s writing style so I decided just to put on my big girl panties and read a book about the woman I love to hate. Imagine my surprise when I not only became immersed in her story, but also started to understand her **insert shocked face here**.

Sofie makes no apologies for who she is which I do like. But what I REALLY disliked about her the most is that she had no remorse in trying to shred other people’s lives. It was fine for her to level a relationship as long as she got her way. In Until I’m Yours, I actually got to see the “behind the scenes” Sofie, someone who is a brash b*tch, but also a woman who has had her heart broken many times. She had hardened it so that nothing or no one could break it again. She also has a philanthropic side to her which impressed me. I always thought she would be too stuck on herself to notice the world around her.

Then she meets Trevor – a good man with good morals, a bright mind and eyes only for Sofie. I really did not want to like them together but he humanized her, grounded her, and dare I say, redeemed her in my eyes. Yes, their sex was hot but there was so much more to them as a burgeoning couple, that it took a back seat for me.

As per her usual, Kennedy has created an amazing plot that kept me intrigued and entertained and characters that made me stop and rethink my previous ideas that I had about them. This is a series, so to make sense, I think it should be read in order. I never thought that Sofie could be redeemed for me, but somehow it happened. You are a miracle worker, Kennedy!
