I feel like I waited forever for more of my Xavier but it was soooo worth it!!! Phenomenal X started the story of X and Anna – a bad boy with a secret past and a good girl who was sheltered her whole life. They fight, flounder, and fall in love. Xavier Cold picks up exactly where the first book left off and is true to the characters and the story.

I never really thought I could love a story about arena wrestling, but here I am, completely enamored. I think it’s because the wrestling takes the back burner in a story that is not only about love but also exorcising the demons of the past and making a bright future despite a difficult journey in life. Xavier and Anna are made for one another – they are a soothing balm to each others wounds. I have to admit that there were several times that I wanted to smack the both of them, however, they always redeemed themselves.

I am sad to see them go. Xavier is one of my favorite characters of all time. Complicated, complex, and completely lovable (once you get to know him), he is a tormented soul in a strong and beautiful body.

I am recommending both books to be read in order or they will make no sense. Phenomenal X and Xavier Cold MUST go directly to the top of your TBR!
