     A story about a female bodyguard, a strong woman that knows how to take care of herself and the one she is to be protecting? Oh h*** yes!!!! I have loved the other two books in the series, so it was a no-brainer that I would read Hard to Forget. The fact that it was about a woman protecting a man made it an absolute must read for me.

     If you read my reviews, you know the one thing that I may love more then an angsty book is a book about a strong woman. What was nice about Delaney is the fact that she is strong, capable, and fierce, without giving up her feminine side. I felt that the story of her trying to make it in a “man’s world” was dead on. How many women do you know that hold this type of position? I know zero. I think that Bella Jewel tackles the fact that there are still areas that women are perceived the weaker sex and therefore incapable of holding that job. What I loved, though, is that she made Delaney aware of this fact but it did not bring her down, but rather spurred her on to be as good if not better then the men in her field.

     Jax, well, he’s yum. Rich, powerful, serious, and sexy, he is slightly chauvinistic towards Delaney but certainly overcomes his opinion and feels safer with her then the men assigned to him. The relationship that he an Delaney have is hot and sensual but there is also a mutual respect regarding what they do and what their lives have been like up until now. They are a true power couple.

       If you have never read a Bella Jewel book, I encourage you to pick one up immediately. She writes wonderful characters and plots that will keep you clinging to the pages until “The End” is written.
