RIGHT KIND OF WRONG by Chelsea Fine (March 3, 2015; Forever Trade Paperback; $12.00)
Sometimes wrong can feel oh so right . . .
Jenna Lacombe needs complete control, whether it’s in the streets . . . or between the sheets. So when she sets out on a solo road trip to visit her family in New Orleans, she’s beyond annoyed that the infuriatingly sexy Jack Oliver wants to hitch a ride with her. Ever since they shared a wild night together last year, he’s been trying to strip away her defenses one by one. He claims he’s just coming along to keep her safe-but what’s not safe for her is prolonged exposure to the tattooed hottie.
Jack can’t get Jenna out from under his skin. She makes him feel alive again after his old life nearly destroyed him-and losing her is not an option. Now Jack’s troubles are catching up to him, and he’s forced to return to his hometown in Louisiana. But when his secrets put them both in harm’s way, Jenna will have to figure out how far she’s willing to let love in . . . and how much she already has.
♥MY REVIEW♥ by Colleen
I have been waiting for Jenna’s story!!! I love her! She is everything that my favorite heroine needs to be – tough, sassy, does not whine or run away, but has a good heart and inner strength that makes her to be likeable despite her faults. I wish she was real because I want to be her friend. 😉
Jack and Jenna’s heat almost broke my Kindle. They move around each other like an erotic, pulsing dance; Jack longing for Jenna to want him and Jenna constantly pushing away out of fear. I loved the ups and downs, the ebb and flow of their finding the path to each other.
“Long before his silver eyes took me captive, long before his art-stained skin named him
my comrade, the sound of Jack’s voice poured into my ears and dripped down
my spine, melting me one syllable at a time, until the sound of him
was permanently embedded in my being.”
Scorching hot, right?!?!
Right Kind of Wrong is part of a series but it can be read as a stand alone. Characters appear from other books but they are explained well enough that you aren’t missing anything. The story centers around Jenna and Jack – their backstories are included in this book.
I have one thing to say to the author – Chelsea, I need more!!!! Soon! More books, please!!! I’m begging! 🙂
