Power. Money. Control. Love.

He has all but one.

When movie star, Evan Carlson, discovers his girlfriend’s picture with another man splashed on the cover of gossip magazines, he decides he’s had enough of his fishbowl life and attempts to outrun the media frenzy his relationships have become. Driving until the road stops, he ends up on the remote and quaint Perry Island, where a heartthrob can blend in like the locals and be a beach bum as long as he wants. All that changes when Evan meets Haven Owen, aspiring songwriter and the girl he just can’t get enough of. A summer romance turns into something much deeper and Evan gets tangled in his own web of lies to keep Haven in his life. But when his ex tracks him down, Evan learns there are some things you just can’t outrun.

Is the cost of love, losing all control?

MY REVIEW♥ by Dina

Finding Haven is a great fun beach read, even though I read it in February, I could picture myself on Perry Island in the summer kayaking with Evan and Haven. Dreaming that this snow would just go away and it could just warm up.

Evan is a huge movie star, the sexiest bachelor, but has been pushed to the brink and just leaves everything behind to get some peace. I have always wondered if stars feel this way, I know I would if I were in his shoes. Anyway…. He drives until he can’t drive anymore then hops a ferry to Perry Island where he meets Haven and he can be just a normal person. The sparks between them are almost instant and was gratifying for Evan to find someone who likes him as a person and not a movie star. Haven, hoping to get off the island as soon as humanly possible, reluctantly starts falling for Evan. The depths at which Ms. Foster develops the characters makes you feel like you are actually friends with them and are rooting for them. I was very nervous knowing that at some point his secret would come out and she would not be happy. So I kept my fingers crossed that when she did find out she could forgive them and they could be together. I don’t do spoilers, but there is a book 2, I cannot wait to read how it to see how the rest of their story plays out.

RED LINES by T.A. Foster

Love on remote Perry Island was one thing, but with the flash of a camera everything has changed.

Movie star Evan Carlson has just landed the role of a lifetime, playing the infamous Dexter Red. Fans can’t get enough of the sexiest, most-talked-about guy to ever hit paperback pages.

Haven is in Austin working on her songwriting career, and Evan’s faith and commitment are put to the test. No matter which way he turns, Hollywood keeps getting in the way.

Does realizing their career dreams mean losing their relationship? Can they survive the headlines and media frenzy surrounding Evan’s new role?

When it comes to love, some lines are meant to be blurred.
